Seabridge Marina under new ownership

CHANNEL ISLANDS — Channel Islands 241 Management LLC (CI 241 Mgt) has announced it recently closed escrow on Seabridge Marina. The 241-slip marina is located in a waterfront master-planned community organized around waterways and public open spaces.

The news follows a lengthy transaction that took eight months to finalize. CI 241 Mgt general manager Doug Green thanked D.R. Horton’s In House Counsel and the Southern California Division president for their professionalism and patience during the complicated transaction.

“California Yacht Marina did an excellent job of managing the ‘best in class’ Seabridge Marina,” Green added. “We intend to adopt most all of the procedures and policies used by California Yacht Marina as they worked well.”

Kathie Connell, who has been with Seabridge Marina for nine years, will stay on as office manager under the new ownership.

“I am pleased to remain at Seabridge as it has become a home for me and many happy boaters,” she said. “I look forward to the aggressive lease up campaign and getting the word out about our hidden jewel.”

CI 241 Mgt has exciting plans for the marina including the launch of a new Seabridge Marina website, implementing a hands-on and proactive site management plan with the development of new Wi-Fi on the docks, and reaching out to all registered boaters in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties to inform them of the marina’s superior slips, rates and facilities with 20 percent lower slip fees.

“We have over 150 new slips available out of 241 in total, ranging from 20 to 50 feet, our pricing remains 20 to 30 percent below the Ventura County average,” said Green. “Having new Bellingham Unifloat Docks, a Boater’s Lounge that feels like The Four Seasons, with a Vons anchored shopping center and a 24 Hour Fitness anchored center as bookends sell itself.”

Seabridge Marina is part of the Seabridge Development, a high profile community organized into two island neighborhoods where waterfront access is the primary amenity. Two linear miles of waterfront, 32 acres of open water and an 8-acre recreational bay are all features of this vibrant seaside community.

Seabridge Marina is located at 1601 S. Victoria Ave., Ste. 101 in Oxnard. Email Kathie Connell at seabridgemarina241@gmail.com; Call 805-985-8228 or visit seabridge-marina.com for more information.
