AVALON — El Galleon Restaurant will be open to serve its annual Christmas dinner to locals and island visitors alike, from noon to 9 p.m. Dec. 25. Boaters and their families who will be at the island during the holiday can choose an old-fashioned Christmas dinner, a Catalina Christmas dinner or an item from the regular menu.

The old-fashioned Christmas dinner includes a choice of Caesar salad or scallop chowder, followed by roast turkey or ham. Dinners are served with cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes and giblet gravy, candied yams, fresh vegetables, cranberries, fresh-baked sourdough bread and butter. Adult meals are $22.95, and meals for children 12 and younger are $11.95.

The Catalina Christmas dinner includes a locally caught half lobster in addition to the turkey dinner. The cost is $39.95 per person.

All dinners include pumpkin pie for dessert.
