Two Harbors Moorings Available on First-Come, First-Served Basis

Byline: The Log Staff

CATALINA ISLAND — Now through March 24, visiting boaters can secure a mooring, pay for two nights at the Isthmus, Fourth of July Cove or Cherry Cove, and stay the rest of the week for free. However, advance reservations are not available for this special offer: Moorings are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis upon boaters’ arrival in Two Harbors.

Shoreboats will be available, at regular rates. A story in the print edition of The Log’s Jan. 18-31 issue listed incorrect shoreboat prices.

This special off-season mooring promotion will end after Two Harbors’ Shipwreck Weekend, which will offer a variety of fun activities for visiting boaters.

Festivities begin Friday, March 22 at the Harbor Reef Saloon, where participants can dance the night away as a DJ spins the latest hits, and a live band will play late into the night.

The fun continues on Saturday, with activities for both children and adults — including costume contests, treasure hunts and much more. A $20 admission fee to the event will be available for purchase at Two Harbors.

For the latest information on the weekend’s activities, visit the Shipwreck Weekend Facebook page, or go to visitcatalinaisland.com.
