The seminar provided sailors an introduction to rules of sailboat regattas and provided sailors with an opportunity to participate in two practice regattas. The event also featured a pre-race skippers meeting, a post-race debrief and trophy presentation. All activities were designed to simulate a traditional regatta so participants will end the day with the confidence and skills to participate in a real sailing regatta, according to WSA-OC Commodore Valerie Rhodes.
