Two Harbors Wine Festival offers plethora of tastings

Guests can taste the finest in imported and regional wines at 15th annual event.
TWO HARBORS — Wine connoisseurs can enjoy sipping the finest in reds, chardonnays, syrah and bubbly while on a beautiful beach in Two Harbors during the island’s 15th annual Wine Festival.
The one-day event scheduled from 1-4 p.m., June 4 at the Main Beach at Two Harbors is a tasting extravaganza featuring the finest in imported and regional wines. Hosted by the Santa Catalina Island Company and the Avalon Rotary Club, the day of tasting provides guests with plenty of fun and wine samplings.
The popular event sells out every year; purchasing tickets in advance is strongly encouraged. Once on site tasters can walk from table to table where wineries will have designated stations.
Ticket price includes unlimited tasting of participating wineries, complementary light appetizers, live music, and access to the event silent auction. The wine festival is a charity event with all proceeds going to the Avalon Rotary Club and directly benefiting local island charities and scholarships.
