Dale Donnelly Memorial Golf Tournament Set for Aug. 22

MISSION VALLEY — The Friends of Dale Donnelly will host the 10th annual Dale Donnelly Memorial Golf Tournament at Riverwalk Golf Club Aug. 22, in memory of the San Diego marine industry icon.
The event will raise funds for the Rady Children’s Hospital Cancer Care Center, which helps to restore, sustain and enhance the health and developmental potential of children in San Diego. The past nine tournaments have raised more than $ 117,075 for this cause.
For more than 50 years, Rady Children’s Hospital has relied on the support of donors and volunteers to help ensure that critically ill and injured children have access to the highest quality care in this unique, family centered healing environment. Through donations, the hospital is able to provide pediatric care, special programs and support for children and their families need.
The Hematology/Oncology Care Center at Rady Children’s Hospital is the largest pediatric cancer care facility in San Diego and Imperial Counties. A team of highly skilled professionals ensures that families receive the resources they need to cope, when a child is diagnosed with cancer.
Children are treated with state-of-the-art medical programs. Psychosocial services are available for the whole family.
