DANA POINT — Dana Point Fuel Dock has joined the nearly 600 marinas and fuel docks nationwide that offer ValvTect Marine Fuels.
The fuel dock, operated by John Van Dixhorn since 1986, serves boaters from Dana Point Harbor’s two marinas, which have a combined total of more than 2,500 slips, along with boaters visiting the Dana Point area.
“We are totally committed to supply our customers the finest products available — especially fuels that are specially formulated for marine engines that help prevent problems caused by ethanol and ultra-low-sulfur diesel that we are now required to sell,” Van Dixhorn said.
“By supplying ValvTect Marine Gasoline and ValvTect Marine Diesel, we are taking a proactive step to help our customers avoid fuel-related problems and reduce operating and maintenance costs, thereby improving their boating experience,” he said.
Jerry Nessenson, president of ValvTect Petroleum, said, “Dana Point Harbor is one of the most beautiful portside communities in California, known for its one-of-a-kind boutiques, restaurants, whale watching and excellent amenities offered to its harbor residents. By Dana Point Fuel Dock offering ValvTect Marine Fuels, it gives us an important position in the Southern California market. In addition to providing ValvTect Marine Fuels to the harbor’s 2,500 slip holders, it makes ValvTect’s specially formulated marine-grade fuels available to cruisers cruising south to San Diego and Mexico.”
