SANTA MONICA — Beachgoers and water lovers wondering about the water quality at their favorite diving and swim spots can now get the info on their phones, as Heal the Bay Santa Monica has released a mobile app showing the latest water quality reports.
The new mobile app for iPhone and Android users offers information on water quality grades at more than 650 West Coast beaches.
The free mobile app delivers “A” through “F” grades, weather conditions and user tips for beach locations in California, Oregon and Washington to swimmers, surfers, boaters and anyone else who loves the ocean.
In addition to discovering which beaches are safe or unsafe for swimming, beachgoers can look up and save their favorite local beaches, as well as learn details on beach closures.
