Oceanside’s new bilge pumpout open to boaters

OCEANSIDE — City and harbor officials gathered at Oceanside Harbor in December 2015 to take part in a special ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new bilge pumpout. The bilge pumpout and oil-water separator was installed as part of a public-private partnership involving The Bay Foundation Boater Education Program and city of Oceanside. Santa Barbara and Channel Island harbors are the only other Southern California venues have a bilge pumpout for boaters.
