Support Your Right to Fish and Win the Costa Rica Sweepstakes

If you’ve attended a Fred Hall Show…The Ultimate Outdoor Experience at the Long Beach Convention Center over the last five years you may have noticed the giant KeepAmericaFishing banner that was staring you in the face from the moment you entered the show.  That is because KeepAmericaFishing should be in the conscious mind of every angler… all of the time.

With all of the challenges to fishing that we face nationally and here in California, we need strong advocates like KeepAmericaFishing working to protect our right to fish and our access to fishable waters.  And they do work to protect us twenty-four hours a day and three hundred and sixty five days a year.

“KeepAMericaFishing is the recreational fishing industry’s angler advocacy campaign,” said American Sportfishing Association (ASA) Vice President Gordon Robertson.  “ASA, along with our nation’s anglers are fighting the good fight to keep our waters open, clean and abundant with fish by working to influence policy issues on the state and national level. KeepAmericaFishing, Daiwa and Crocodile Bay Resort have teamed up to offer a fishing trip-of-a-lifetime through the 2014 KeepAmericaFishing Costa Rica Sweepstakes.

Now through April 30th, anglers and anglers-to-be can enter to win a six-night trip for two to Crocodile Bay Resort, a five-star rated resort on the OSA Peninsula in Costa Rica.  The trip includes three days of guided fishing trips and the winner’s choice of $300.00 in Daiwa fishing gear.  Crocodile Resort is known as an angler’s dream fishing getaway with fish running year round combined with a warm tropical climate. Anglers from around the world come to Crocodile Bay to fish for blue marlin, sailfish, roosterfish and much more in this world-class destination.  When not fishing visitors can relax on warm beaches, zip line through the lush tree canopy or relax in the spa.

“Daiwa is very happy to be a supporter of the KeepAmericaFishing program,” said Daiwa’s Curt Arakawa.  “KeepAmericaFishing is one of the great organizations that we cannot say enough good things about.  We all need to try to appreciate and conserve our natural resources.  Enjoying our natural resources is one of the great things we are blessed with in life.”

“I’m happy to say that KeepAmericaFishing is partnering with other ASA members and supporters to offer other exciting campaigns to help us influence critical policy issues that impact fishing in 2014,” Robertson said.

So while you are at the show, or when you get home, use any of your mobile devices or your home computer to connect with KeepAmericaFishing and enter to win the dream fishing trip to what National Geographic calls “The Most Ecologically Intense Place on Earth.”
