Battleship Iowa welcomes Pokémon Go players to historic ship

LOS ANGELES — Battleship Iowa has unofficially become “Port Pokémon” for the rest of the summer as the ship welcomes players to tour the ship and hunt for Poké Critters, Poké Balls and more at a special discounted rate.

Guests between the ages of 6-17 can take advantage of the special discounted rates: $9 for a single tour ticket; $25 for an unlimited Pokémon Go Summer Pass. Adults (18 and over) can purchase a single day tour ticket for $14.95 or an unlimited Pokémon Go Summer Pass for $45. Unlimited visits are good through Sept. 30.

Players must show their Pokémon Go app on their mobile device to receive the discounted rates.

Pokémon Go rules and guidelines are posted aboard the Battleship Iowa where players will have the opportunity to explore the vessel while capturing items at the PokéStop.
