In Memoriam: Chip Donnelly

NEWPORT BEACH — Chip Donnelly, a Newport Beach sailor and harbor activist reportedly passed away Feb. 1. He was 55.

The banker, web designer and Newport Harbor Yacht Club member contributed to Newport Beach’s harbor cruising guide publication. He served on Newport Mooring Association’s board of directors.

A memorial service for Donnelly was held Feb. 12 at Balboa Yacht Club.
