Editorial — Kiss a Fish or Ask a Question, Then Win a Prize

The Log’s FishRap section has two great contests in every issue that readers can enter to win a valuable prize — such as a $50 West Marine gift card or a Pelagic gift certificate. And unlike the lottery or Vegas, winning here is easy: There are new winners every two weeks.            

In our Kiss Your Katch competition, all you have to do is send in or email a photo of you, a friend or a family member kissing a catch from a recent fishing trip. If it’s judged the top entry for that issue, you’ll win a $50 West Marine gift card, or another great prize from West Marine.

In our Ask the Expert contest, you can get answers to your most perplexing fishing questions from a local sportfishing expert — including where and how to fish for different species, what gear is required and what state regulations govern your catches. If your submitted question is selected, you’ll win a prize package from Pelagic High-Performance Offshore Gear.
