High Tide


The Log traveled all the way to Saint John, New Brunswick on the East Coast of Canada, with Capt. Dana Parks of San Diego (right), pictured with Steve Nedry and Deborah Hannah of Saint John. New Brunswick Bay of Fundy, known for the highest tides in the world, has a mean tidal range of about 33-ft.and extreme tidal ranges of up to 48-ft. With each tide, the Bay of Fundy flushes an amount of water equal to the entire daily discharge of all the world’s rivers.
