Spring break travels

Fred and Nancy Marx of San Diego took The Log with them on their spring break scuba diving trip to Cozumel, Mexico. They shared The Log with their new dive friends and locals. The photo was taken in front of the ferry terminal looking south towards the very busy cruise ship terminal. Cozumel is known in the scuba diving industry and among divers as one of the best diving locations in the world due to schools of fish, reefs and coral formations. Cozumel is part of the Meso-American reef system, which spans about 175 miles and is the second largest barrier reef system in the world. The majority of dive sites are located within the Cozumel Reefs National Park on the 30-mile-long island.
