Dream Catcher Yachts Expands

Dream Catcher Yachts of Dana Point recently announced the opening of new satellite offices in Newport Beach and Marina del Rey. The Newport Beach office, located at 2801 Newport Coast Hwy., will allow for additional slips and the ability to sell and store large boats. The office will be managed by Philip Thompson, who has years of international boating experience, having raced sailboats in Australia and SoCal.

The Marina del Rey office will be staffed by Jim Bartch, who will work out of his 47-foot Beneteau. Before being hired by Dream Catcher, Bartch was a successful boat salesman in Hawaii.

The Dana Point office welcomes two new staff members, Jim Cook and George Briggs. Cook’s background includes SoCal real estate sales and co-ownership of a specialty sportboat franchise line, manufactured in San Diego. Briggs also has a real estate sales background and is an experienced photographer. Both Cook and Briggs are current boat owners and enjoy boating off the SoCal coast.

The new staff members bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the company and join the current team of Dan Green, Dave Barker, Jerry Bryan and Shelley Furse.

Dream Catcher Yachts has headquarters in Dana Point Harbor and is owned by Capt. Kenzie and Robin Rainie-Lobacz. Besides being a full-service yacht brokerage, Dream Catcher Yachts is the West Coast dealer for Pacific Seacraft Sailboats, offers 6-pack yacht charters and sells Spade high-performance anchors.
