June 22 • Harbor Police units investigated a vessel collision in the Shelter Island yacht basin.
June 19 • Harbor Police units investigated a domestic violence incident aboard a vessel in the Harbor Island west lagoon. A 26-year old male was arrested for domestic violence and child cruelty.
June 19 • Harbor Police units responded to a 102 foot yacht fully engulfed in a Chula Vista boat yard. Harbor Police vessel units along with area fire departments were able to extinguish the fire. Cause of the fire is still under investigation.
June 19 • Emergency medical response to bridge piling #19 for a 53-year old male who had jumped from the Coronado bridge. Victim succumbed to his injuries and was transferred to the County Coroner’s office.
June 18 • Harbor Police units discovered a vessel adrift near buoy 16. Vessel was taken under tow until vessel assist arrived.
June 17 • Harbor Police units investigated a domestic violence incident in the Shelter Island yacht basin.
June 13 • Harbor Police units cited a 63-year old male for disposing trash into the water at Glorietta Bay.
June 12 • The Harbor Police dive team assisted the Coronado Police Department recover evidence that had been thrown into the water from a dock in the Coronado Cays.
June 11 • Harbor Police units contacted a 53-year old male who was trespassing on the docks at Shelter Cove Marina. The subject was arrested for being drunk in public.
June 9 • Harbor Police units assisted with a disabled vessel in the main shipping channel. The vessel was towed to the Harbor Island fuel dock.

Dana Point Harbor
June 26 • 3:55 p.m. Harbor Patrol responded to a jet ski that was overturned with two people in the water.
June 21 • 3:07 p.m. Harbor Patrol assisted a jet ski stuck in the kelp.
Newport Harbor
June 26 • 7:55 a.m. Harbor Patrol rescued a man aboard a vessel and towed him to the harbor entrance.
June 25 • 2:03 p.m. Harbor Patrol responded to a jet pack complaint.
June 24 • 5:14 p.m. Harbor Patrol responded to a boat accident on Little Balboa to a report of a vessel hit on it’s mooring.
VENTURA COUNTY
Ventura Harbor
June 22 • 8:45 a.m. Harbor Patrol monitored a disabled vessel calling Vessel Assist. Patrol observed the vessel anchored 500 feet from the Launch Ramp. Patrol towed the vessel to the Launch Ramp and released it
June 21 • 5:07 p.m. Harbor Patrol received a report of a sailing vessel against the rip rap by the Launch Ramp. Patrol responded, took the vessel into tow and released it at the Launch Ramp
June 18 • 9 a.m. Harbor Patrol responded in a training drill at Port Hueneme Harbor involving a multitude of local, State, and Federal agencies responding to a simulated terrorist attack that created a Multi-Causality-Incident on a vessel.
June 17 • 9 p.m. Harbor Patrol observed a discharge of “stick water” from a vessel unloading squid at the Fish Offloading Dock. Patrol issued the operator a misdemeanor citation for the violation.
June 17 • 5:41 a.m. The Dockmaster handled radio traffic from a vessel disabled in the entrance and activated Patrol’s On Call system. Patrol responded. The vessel was anchored. Patrol took the vessel into tow and released it at the launch ramp.
