ASA recognizes outstanding sailing instructors in Newport Beach

LOS ANGELES ― Several Southern California sailing instructors were honored in January by the American Sailing Association (ASA) for outstanding instruction in 2016.
Joshua Ross and Chuck Lane of Newport Beach Sailing were among the sailing instructors honored by ASA for their work in metro Los Angeles or San Diego.
In all about 30 instructors were named by ASA as an “Outstanding Sailing Instructor” for 2016. The honorees are selected from hundreds of schools and among thousands of instructors worldwide.
ASA announced the award honorees on Jan. 24.
