Dana Point Harbor dredge underway

Visitors to Baby Beach may have noticed the large tubing and other equipment required for the 2015-2016 Maintenance Dredging Project in the staging area in the parking lot. According to a press release, the project contractor has placed fencing around the construction staging area and will be using that space, as well as a portion of Baby Beach to connect sections of the discharge pipe. The dredging project will clear sediment in navigation channels to impove boating safety and provide beach replenishment.
