Huntington Harbour YC Wine Knot Coming Feb. 11

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Boaters are invited to enjoy tasting of fine wines, craft beers, food and live music at Huntington Harbour Yacht Club’s second annual Wine Knot event, from 6-9 p.m. Feb. 11. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Huntington Beach Sailing Foundation.
Featured partners include Pear Valley (Paso Robles), ONEHOPE Wine (Newport Beach), The Other Guys (Sonoma Valley), Taft Street Winery (Sonoma Valley), SeaLegs Wine Bar (coming soon to Huntington Beach), BRIX (Sunset Beach) and Brew Bakers (Huntington Beach).
A tasting passport allows guests three complimentary tastings at each partner station, along with appetizers and a special gift. Passports purchased before Jan. 27 are $40 per person. Mention The Log and receive $5 off your passport. After Jan. 27, the price will increase to $50 per person.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to win silent auction items. Last year’s prizes included a cabin stay at Mammoth Mountain, hotel and spa packages, and gift certificates to local restaurants. Gondola rides will also be available around the harbor throughout the evening.
Last year’s event attracted 100 guests, and event organizers expect about 150 this year.
