Lido Boat Show Returns to Newport, Sept. 26-29

NEWPORT BEACH — More than 200 big boats and yachts — with an average length of 45 to 75 feet — will be on display in the water at the upcoming Lido Boat Show, which returns to Newport Beach for its 35th year Sept. 26-29.

The “Big Boat” show at Lido Marina Village will give boaters their first peek at the new 2014 yacht models. Show-goers can step aboard and compare a rare selection of large luxury motoryachts, along with a wide array of midsize pleasurecraft, including both powerboats and sailboats. The latest must-have marine gear, apparel, electronics, engines, accessories and services will also be on display.

Produced by the Duncan McIntosh Co. Inc., the Lido Boat Show will feature a diverse collection of new and ocean-tested brokerage boats — including sportfishers, family cruisers, sport yachts, trawler yachts and long-range expedition-ready cruising yachts.

Show hours are noon-7 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15 for adults; free for children 12 and younger.

There’s free parking, and a continuous shuttle service is available. Visit lidoboatshow.com for more information, or call (949) 757-5959.
