Los Angeles Boat Show Opens Feb. 7

LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Boat Show — returning Feb. 7-10 for its 57th year — will have two locations: the Los Angeles Convention Center, for dryland exhibits; and Burton Chace Park in Marina del Rey, for in-the-water yachts and brokerage boats. Show-goers can explore the exhibits and participate in many activities at both locations for the $12 ticket price.

Attendees will get a chance to meet Phil and Bob Soven, from the MTV television reality show “WakeBrothers” — and they can visit Fred’s Shed Interactive Learning Center.

In addition, a variety of show seminars and hands-on clinics will be presented by Discover Boating, for both powerboaters and sailors — including on-the-water training and learning activities. There’s a separate registration fee for the more intensive one-to-two-hour clinics and three-to-four-hour seminars, and complete information is available on the boat show website.

Burton Chace Park is located at 13650 Mindanao Way in Marina del Rey; and the Los Angeles Convention Center is at 1201 S. Figueroa St. in Los Angeles.

Show hours for the convention center are noon-9 p.m. Feb. 7-8; 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Feb. 9; and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Feb. 10. Show hours for Burton Chace Park are noon-5 p.m. Feb. 7-8; and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Feb. 9-10.

The show is produced by NMMA West and sponsored by Progressive Insurance. For more information, visit losangelesboatshow.com.
