Los Angeles Boat Show opens Feb. 25-28

LOS ANGELES — The 2016 Los Angeles Boat Show will cruise into Marina del Rey Feb. 25-28 with hundreds of new boats. The show takes place in two locations, with indoor displays at the Los Angeles Convention Center and in-water exhibits at Burton Chace Park in Marina del Rey.

Guests are invited to the four-day show that will feature entry-level family cruisers, million dollar yachts and the newest in marine gear and accessories. Boaters can board boats of all sizes including sportfishing vessels, brokerage yachts, sailboats, and performance boats, pontoons, catamarans, and more.

Daily education seminars, including on-water training and test drives, will be offered aboard boats at the Marina del Rey location. New and used boats 35 feet and larger will be featured at the exhibit at Burton Chace Park, including SailFest, featuring sailboats, hourly sailing seminars and sailing gear and accessories. 

The new Float-In Theater allows boat show guests to enjoy the boating lifestyle without leaving the dock. A Kids’ Zone will keep kiddos busy with toy boat building, balloon artists and more. 

Burton Chace Park is located at 13650 Mindanao Way in Marina del Rey; and the Los Angeles Convention Center is at 1201 S. Figueroa St. in Los Angeles.

Show hours for the convention center are noon- 9 p.m. Feb. 25-26; 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Feb. 27 and 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. Feb 28. Show hours for Burton Chace Park are noon-5 p.m. Feb 25-26 and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Feb 27-28. Complimentary round trip shuttle transportation will be available to and from the Los Angeles Convention Center and Marina del Rey.
