MarinaFest returns to Channel Island, June 14-15
CHANNEL ISLANDS – The entire family can enjoy a weekend of fun down by the water during the Channel Islands Harbor MarinaFest, June 14-15. The two-day fun fest includes a farmer’s market, food, live music and boating-oriented demonstrations.
Attendees will find a display of in-water boats, a classic car show, live music by Unkle Monkey, food trucks and several exhibitors on the dock. A farmer’s market will be held on Sunday.
Anacapa Yacht Club members will provide sailing demonstrations every half hour Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stand up paddleboard and kayak demos – along with free lessons — will be led by Channel Islands kayak Center all day Saturday and Sunday.
Valkyrie Yachts will present Electronic Demos: Tips and Tricks, on Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Kids will also enjoy the interactive whale display provided by NOAA. Restaurants, yacht clubs and merchants will be open to visitors.
