San Diego Bay Parade of Lights to host Boat Lighting Seminar

The San Diego Bay Parade of Lights recently announced its 46th annual run would be held Dec. 10 and 17; this year’s theme is “Arrgh! A Pirate’s Christmas.”

Organizers, in anticipation of this year’s parade, also announced a Boat Lighting Seminar will be held, Nov. 15.

The Boat Lighting Seminar will be held at West Marine in Point Loma (1250 Rosecrans Street, San Diego) and begins at 5:30 p.m.; the seminar is scheduled to run until 7 p.m.

West Marine lighting expert John Valle will discuss the value of LED lighting and how boaters can make the best use of lights while on the water.

The seminar is free; applications for the parade will be available for all in attendance.

Interested boaters can send questions or comments to sdparadeoflights@gmail.com.
