The BoatYard at Marina del Rey expands operations

Bellingham Marine announced The BoatYard at Marina del Rey installed a 100-ton travel lift pier to its waterfront operations. The new Marine Travelift allows The BoatYard to service a larger market.

Construction of the new Travelift was done in phases, one dock at a time, according to a Bellingham Marine press release.

“The lift sits on one of three new fixed concrete piers built by Bellingham Marine,” the Bellingham Marine press release continued. “The piers have 35-ton, 100-ton and 135-ton capacities. In addition, Bellingham built the new 114-slip marina. Included are new concrete floating docks, aluminum gangways, and modern dockside utilities. The majority of the existing concrete guide piles are still in use.”
