Walter Johnson joins Stan Miller Yachts

NEWPORT BEACH — Stan Miller Yachts’ sales team continues to bloom as they recently announced the addition of yacht salesman Walter Johnson to their team. Johnson joins veteran yacht broker Curt Agee at the Newport Beach office of Stan Miller Yachts.

Johnson has long been a part of the maritime scene in Southern California, as both a distinguished sailor and as a yacht salesman with prestigious outfits in the Newport Beach area. A Southern California native, his passion for sailing developed early and has developed into a lifelong interest, both personally and professionally. He has sailed recreationally and competitively, participating as a skipper and tactician on many Transpacs, Ensenada and Cabo races, as well as many races on the Eastern Seaboard and in Asia.

Johnson is excited about his new position with Stan Miller Yachts, where he’ll represent a variety of new boat brands like Viking, Hatteras, MJM, Sabre, Back Cove and more. He has extensive experience with both sailing and cruising boats, including his most recent position representing and selling Fleming yachts.

Johnson’s hiring represents the third broker added to the Stan Miller Yachts sales team in the past six months, as the company expands their California and Washington operations.
