Our voices have been heard

It is refreshing to read that Newport Beach Mayor Rush Hill will no longer try to push his ridiculous floating dock concept down the throats of mooring holders. As a former mooring renter, I understand where many boat owners are coming from in that removal of the moorings in favor of docks will mean taking away our sacred privacy.
Cheers to the mayor for listening to us and not being motivated – this time – by the bottom line.
