A native of the Vitu Islands near Papua New Guinea is shown holding The Log. Dennis Burns (not pictured), a San Diego local, visited the isolated tribe on a trip through the region.While on a 10-day stint aboard the dive boat, Star Dancer, Burns said he rarely saw another vessel on the water.
