Off Elba Island, Italy

Howard Jones and Liz McCarty, who regularly cruise aboard SV Tempest of Point Loma, arrived in Piombino, Italy to charter a boat for a trip to Elba Island (pictured in the background). They brought a copy of The Log along, of course. â⠬œIf it was this cold when Napoleon was here, it’s no wonder he left for his Waterloo, Jones said.
