St. Petersburg, Russia — Just to let you know I am taking The Log with me — even to Russia, reported Dr. Peter J. Beck of Newport Beach, who visited Russia just a few weeks ago. Behind me is the famous Church of the Saviour of the Blood … and the waterway behind me is Kanal Griboyedova, named after a Russian diplomat who was assassinated in todays Iran.
