Silver Gate YC to host 59th Wheelchair Regatta

SAN DIEGO–Silver Gate Yacht Club’s 59th annual Wheelchair Regatta occurs Sunday, October 20, at the club’s Shelter Island location. Each year members of the club and community work together to give hundreds among San Diego’s disabled community a “Day on the Bay.”
The event requires many boats and volunteers to ensure a safe and enjoyable day for all. Volunteers are still needed for a number of positions inside and outside. Also needed are power boats which can accommodate a minimum of four guests, but preferably 10 to 12 guests.
