ALEXANDRIA, Va. (LOG NEWS SERVICE) — For the second year in a row, Serenity has topped the Boat Owners Association of the United States (BoatUS) Top Ten Boat Names list.

In a release BoatUS reported that in addition to Serenity, its 2015 List of Top Ten Boat Names includes: Seas the Day (2), Andiamo (3), Aquaholic (4), Second Wind (5), Island Time (6), Happy Ours (7), Journey (8), Serendipity (9) and Relentless (10).

Serenity has appeared 15 times — seven in the number one spot — on the Top Ten list of popular boat names issued annually by BoatUS since 1992.

The list reflects the most popular names chosen by association and non association members who ordered graphics for their boats from the BoatUS graphics department during 2014.

“Boaters frequently come to BoatUS to get ideas for a boat’s name by taking a peak at our online list of over 8,000 boat names,” said BoatUS spokesman Scott Croft. “Boaters can then choose to either order online or if they want some more creative help, use the BoatUS Premium Boat Graphics service that offers the talents of a professional designer,” Croft said.

With over a half-million members BoatUS is the nation’s largest organization of recreational boaters.
