REDONDO BEACH -- Residents, boaters and those interested in providing their thoughts on the city of Redondo Beach’s Waterfront Revitalization plans are invited to attend a community workshop on Saturday, Feb. 23.            

Scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, the meeting is a forum for the public to provide input and review the proposed changes to the waterfront.            

This is the last of four community workshops hosted by CenterCal Properties. The city entered into an exclusive negotiating agreement with the company to help revitalize the waterfront.            

The project will be divided into three phases and will include improvements to boating facilities, streetscapes and parks; and renovation of the pier, the landing’s façade and the creation of a new hotel.            

The Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center is located at 1935 Manhattan Beach Blvd.
