Miyajima Island, Japan — The famous Torii of Itsukushima Shrine at Miyajima Island, next to Hiroshima, was the backdrop for a photo with Dale Bingham of San Diego, his daughter Angie and one of their copies of The Log Newspaper, during a recent trip to Japan. Funny — none of the guides we read talked about its restoration, Dale noted. Angie is currently working near Nagoya, Japan.
