Silverton 40 West Coast Edition to Debut in San Diego

SAN DIEGO — Silverton West has announced the debut of the first new Silverton Yachts model on the West Coast in four years: the 40 West Coast Edition. The new boat will make its debut Dec. 16 at Sunroad Marina on Harbor Island.
Chris Droz, broker and co-owner of Silverton West, said he has been working on this yacht design for the past two years.
“The 40 West Coast Edition was designed to give the customer all the comforts of a 50-foot boat in a 40-foot boat — at half the price,” Droz said. “People today are looking for value, but not at the expense of comfort.”
Features of the new boat include extra-large stateroom windows and opening portholes, a hardtop, bow and stern thrusters, 460-gallon fuel capacity, Garmin electronics and twin 380 hp Yanmar diesels. The boat can be purchased through any Southern California yacht broker or directly through Silverton West.
